Temporarily Restricted/Outgoing call barred

Call barring is a facility customer can avail to constraints his mobile usage. There are different types as below:

1. Outgoing voice call barring
2. Outgoing international call barring
3. International calls except to home country
4. Incoming calls
5. Incoming calls when abroad
6.  

Call barring option is available in Mobile setting > security setting. Customer required Pin code if he want to activate call barring, which is by default 0000. And if customer changes his pin code than he should entered his new pin code.

Check List:

o Party A and B both should be active

o Message received at customers end:

Temporarily Restricted / Outgoing Calls Barred on all numbers /

Apke Number pe call krne ke sahulat mojood nahe he./

Apke Number pe call karne ke sahulat waqti tor pe bnd kr de gae he.

Acknowledgement Time: Immediate

Verification: Same CLI no verification

Call Received from other CLI:

o All 789 activated and COO processed numbers will only be processed on Level-2 Verification

o If alternate verification is being taken, customer must be guided to call later from same CLI to get his ownership updated

Type of Activity in E-Front OMT Tab:  Voice Barring –

TAT: 2 hours for issue resolution

Note:

o We will process Reset barring instructions along with guiding customer about Barring deactivation code (#33*0000#).

We will also inform customer to enter the current pin code (if any) otherwise enter 0000. (All segments)

o We will not guide customers to deactivate barring from handset settings any more.

o Incase two voice barring activities are complete and issue is not resolved then we will create

Second Time Call Resolution Handling

 If Customer call second time and after probing we identify same issue then we do as below process guidelines:

1. Make Same Voice Barring Activity
2. Guide Customer about Manual Network Selection

Process of Manual network selection

Setting > Network Setting > Manual > Choose any other than Mobilink > Hard reset > Setting > Network Setting > Manual > Choose Mobilink

Third Time Call Resolution Handling

We will confirm about Manual network selection and send activity to Team Lead in below format
